Suicide attack on Kabul police station

A series of explosions have been heard in a western suburb of Kabul, the Afghan capital.
Gunfire is reportedly ongoing in the area, known as District Five. Initial reports indicate that a suicide bomber detonated himself outside a police station, report says from Kabul.
Loud gunfire was heard for about 15 minutes after the explosion, Smith reported. Currently, sporadic gunfire is ongoing.
The Reuters news agency reported a police source as attributing the attack to the Taliban.
"At least four suicide bombers carried out an attack on a police station," the source said, adding that one bomber detonated his explosives. Police were still fighting the others, who were armed with machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades, the source told Reuters.
