The audio track is from a comedy tape by Ace Hoffman, probably first aired on the Dr. Demento Show June 8, 1986, just seven weeks after (or into) the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. It was Hoffman's third comedy routine to be played on Dr. Demento's national show, the first being Three Mile Island Beatles, first aired on Dr. D in 1979, and most recently (as of this writing) aired on the show in 2008, and the second is sometimes called "the Enumerator's Dilemma," about the U.S. Census.
The book cover shown at the beginning of this video is from: Chernobyl: Consequences of the Catastrophe for People and the Environment, by Alexey V. Yablokov, Vassily B. Nesterenko, and Alexey V. Nesterenko, consulting editor Janette D. Sherman-Nevinger (also translated by Dr. Sherman), Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences, Volume 1181, 2009, New York, NY.
